Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 night driver, to fill a role based in Telford.
A successful candidate will hold a category C driving licence and have prior experience.
Role Responsibilities: Driving a HGV short or long distance with nights out when required. Loading, unloading and securing curtain side or box trailers. Adhering to the delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home. Daily vehicle safety checks e.g. tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports. Interacting with dispatchers and others on a daily basis. Driver Requirements: Hold a category C licence Hold a valid CPC and Digi card No more than 6 points Up to date with the current driving laws and standards Previous Class 2 experience Comfortable with strapping and securing loads Benefits of the Role: Monday to Friday Overtime available Shifts to suit
