Position: Temporary HR Advisor (3-Months)
Location: Lockerbie, Scotland
Salary and Hours: Hourly Rate: £20 per hour Contract Duration: 3 months Part-Time: 2-3 days per week Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Role Overview: As a Temporary HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing HR support to our team, focusing on absence management, investigations, disciplinary processes, and day-to-day employee relations issues. This position offers the flexibility of part-time hours, working 2-3 days per week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities: Conducting absence reviews and implementing strategies to manage absences. Leading investigations into employee grievances, complaints, or disciplinary matters, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies. Providing guidance and support to managers on disciplinary procedures, including documentation. Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Advising managers on employee relations issues, including performance management and conflict resolution. Requirements: Proven experience in a similar HR advisory role, with knowledge of absence management, investigations, and disciplinary procedures. Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Why Join Us?
