COVER SUPERVISOR - Trowbridge CampusTERMS
5 days per week, working days/times are below;
• Monday 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Tuesday 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Wednesday 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Thursday 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm
Total weekly hours 34 hours, 40 minutes, with a 40-minute unpaid Lunch break
Working week 39 weeks
Paid weeks 44.85
All contracts are Term-time plus inset days.SALARY
Pay Grade H, spinal point- 15-17 £15.17-£16.26 Approx. pro rata salary £ 23,231-£24,894

We are seeking to recruit Cover Supervisors to work with students with special educational needs on our Trowbridge Campus.
Our children have a range of SEND needs and conditions and we will place you with a class with which we think you are most suited. Proven experience of working alongside children with severe and complex learning disabilities is essential.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Teacher/HLTA/TA for pupils with complex needs, is essential, the successful candidate will be working within a skilled and supportive team and relevant training will be given. Have a good general education, including GCSE English and Math (grade A-C) or equivalent, ability to teach pupils with a variety of learning difficulties and ability to adapt a curriculum to support pupils with low cognition.The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to individual students, small groups or work in whole class settings across the curriculum. They will receive excellent support from a hardworking and dedicated team.Please refer to the candidate pack for more information.ABOUT US
Silverwood School is a maintained co-educational special school for pupils aged 4-19 years. We formed in September 2020 with campuses in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Rowde.
This is an exciting time to join Silverwood School as we are expanding our provision with a brand new building at our Rowde campus. The new building will have a wide variety of new classes and support areas including subject specialist rooms, a hydrotherapy pool and new sensory rooms; it is due to open in September 2024.
