Summary

Permanent Senior Achievement Support Officer (Level 4 Teaching Assistant) Starting date – as soon as possible Term-time only plus 5 training days/evenings Grade 7, Point 20-24, 30 hours per week Annual Full time Salary £30,296 - £33,024 Actual Annual Gross £21,102 - £23,002 (before deductions) This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professional to join our enthusiastic Achievement Support team at St Thomas More VC Academy. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils in their learning and emotional development. The successful candidate will be able to inspire, motivate and engage children in the learning process. They will have high expectations of behaviour and model good behaviour. They must be committed to work as part of a team and be willing to participate fully in ensuring inclusion of all children. We are looking to appoint someone who: • Is confident to cover lessons across the school • Is well organised, articulate, flexible and creative • Is kind, caring, energetic and enthusiastic • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working within a supportive team • Is able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectation for all children • Is confident working with pupils with challenging behavior • Is a team player • Can inspire children to “be the best that they can be”.
