Your new role
We are currently seeking a Humanities teacher, with a preference for Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Ethics (RPE) or History, to deliver engaging instruction at both GCSE and A-Level levels. This opportunity is ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an individual in the early stages of their teaching career. Join a dynamic team and contribute to shaping the academic journey of the students while gaining valuable experience and support as you grow professionally.
What you'll need to succeed
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in the relevant discipline - A strong passion for teaching and a genuine desire to inspire and support students in their academic and personal development.- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons at both GCSE and A-Level levels.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex ideas and concepts clearly to students of varying abilities.- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing training and learning opportunities.- The ability to cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning, creativity, and mutual respect.- Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage workload efficiently, including planning, assessment, and administrative tasks.- Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to navigate challenges and embrace innovation in teaching practices.- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to the wider goals and ethos of the school.- Compliance with all relevant safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students under their care.
