The Dorset Pain Management Service is a vibrant service, consisting of an inter-professional team working pan-Dorset. We offer individual interventions and group programmes in various locations county wide; these are delivered by two teams across the county. The staff mix includes pain consultants, psychologists, specialist physiotherapists, pain and mental health nurses and occupational therapists, therapy assistants, trainees from various departments and our hardworking admin support team.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join the Dorset Pain Management Service. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within the NHS and have excellent communication skills to deal with patients both face to face and via the telephone.

We are looking for full time 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.

The post will be based at Shelley Road Community Clinic, Boscombe, Bournemouth with very occasional travel to other sites in Poole and Weymouth. You will be working as part of a supportive administration team, spread across various locations in Dorset, supporting a multi-disciplinary team of pain specialists who help people cope with chronic pain to lead meaningful lives.

The role involves managing waiting lists and booking both one-to-one appointments and pain management programmes.
