Summary

A fantastic contract position has arisen for a Commercial Administrator to join a regional House Builder based in Basingstoke. This position is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced administrator or an aspiring Commercial Administrator looking to build on their existing skillset with one of the largest housebuilders in the UK.

Commercial Administrator Duties:
- Compiling tender material, creating inquiry packets, and performing administrative tasks during the procurement stage.
- Maintain and track SMAS and insurance information for subcontractors, including following up on expired information.
- Help with the subcontract accruals preparation.
- Examine redirected inquiries and generate comparative spreadsheets.
- Create spreadsheets to serve as a backup for the order processing process.
- Assemble Health and Safety policies e.g. COSHH reports, copy and forward to site.
- Checking and correcting invoices.
- Ensure familiarity with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.
- General Secretarial duties working with the Commercial Director.
- Placing option and extra orders

Commercial Administrator Specification:
- Computer literate
- Well-organized
- Capable of communicating with colleagues, clients and customers in a clear and effective manner
- Has prior administrative experience
- IT savvy
- Self-starting
