Summary


To assist Senior Managers in ensuring the provision of a comprehensive, confidential, accurate, administrative and secretarial service and to work as a member of the administrative team. The role involves a substantial amount of minute taking at senior directorate meetings.

Trafford Mental Health Services provide local, high quality, efficient and effective services for people experiencing problems with enduring mental illness, working towards meeting national targets jointly with commissioners and other partner agencies. The service involves patients and service users at all levels of decision-making.

The post holder will report directly to the PA to the Head of Operations and will work closely with them to support members of the Senior Management Team.

Act as a key link in the communications process between the Senior Managers and team members of the service. Liaise with managers and staff from external agencies and internal services.

Provide comprehensive diary management for the Senior Management Team when necessary.

Minute meetings for Senior Management Team and others as required, transcribing within agreed timescales.

To maintain confidentiality at all times and implement/maintain systems to ensure this.

To act as a team member assisting during busy periods. To provide cover during periods of sickness, absence or annual leave as required.
