Reed Industrial are hiring in Smethwick!

We have partnered with a leading metal recycling and sustainability company and are excited to be able to recruit for a Non Ferrous Central Coordinator to join their team.

The Role

We're looking for a well organised and motivated individual who is interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. As the Non Ferrous Coordinator, you'll be responsible for facilitating and assisting in managing group risk exposure, coordinating sales reports and coordinating material logistics.

- £28,000 pa

- Full-Time, Permanent contract

- 37.5 hour per week (Monday to Friday)

- Hybrid & flexible working options

Key Responsibilities

  • Domestic and European contract coordination
  • Managing new sales on the system
  • Coordinating the administration of new and existing business, including risk control, purchase documentation, material logistics and contract reports
  • Export contract coordination
  • Monitoring site stocks and turnover

We are ideally seeking candidates who have:

  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good logistical and coordination skills
  • A commitment to delivering an excellent customer service

Qualifications/Experience

  • IT literacy (particularly MS office) is essential
  • Previous work in the metals industry would be beneficial
  • Previous experience with/understanding of non-ferrous grades would be desirable
