Data Cabling Engineer
Finchampstead, Berkshire, RG40

Our client is a thriving company specialising in data cabling and telecommunications. With nearly two decades of experience, they offer exciting projects in the UK and overseas, from single data points to Multi-LAN Networks.
About the Role:
As a Data Cabling Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our client's team, working on diverse projects primarily in the South UK region. You'll be responsible for cable installation from site plans and termination of CAT6 & CAT6A & Fibre Optic Cabling (single mode and multi-mode).
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate CAT6 & CAT6A & Fibre Optic Cabling
- Work on exciting and challenging projects
- Undergo security clearance processes for specific contracts
The Ideal Candidate:
Our client is seeking candidates who are based in the South UK region and possess expertise in cable installation. Experience with CAT6 & CAT6A, and Fibre Optic Cabling is essential, and a passion for technology and innovation is a plus.
Experience in the following is essential:
- Installing containment including trunking, basket, conduit and tray work
- Testing of copper and fibre optic cabling
