Summary
Your new company
I am working with a well-established residential children's home in Warrington, providing person-centred support and care for children and young people aged 6 to 18 years. Our home caters to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and Autism.
Your new role
- Support children and young people in their daily routines.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment.
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external agencies.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with vulnerable children or adults is preferred, but if you have the right motivations or lived experience, this can be accepted too.
- Comfortable dealing with challenging situations and ability to be adaptable
- Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in residential care
- Passionate about promoting the well-being and development of children and young people
- Full UK driving licence
What you'll get in return
Competitive pay starting at £13.50 per hour with £30 sleep in allowance. Based on 10 long day sleeps a month, you will earn £29500. You will receive full induction and online training, as well as be enroled onto your level 4, fully paid for by the company.
