Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join our team at our Wrights Pies based
in the heart of Crewe. As an FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift to support
the production and distribution of our delicious savoury pies.




Key Responsibilities:

* Operate the forklift truck safely and efficiently at all times, adhering to all relevant safety guidelines and procedures.
* Transport raw materials, ingredients, and finished products around the production site as required.
* Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and care in handling.
* Assist with stock rotation and inventory management, maintaining accurate records of stock movements.
* Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products.
* Conduct routine pre-use checks on the forklift truck and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and production areas, following hygiene and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift truck in a similar production or warehouse environment.
* Valid Reach and Counterbalance, licenses are essential.
* VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) licenses is desirable
* Excellent understanding of forklift operation techniques, safety practices, and regulations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and record-keeping.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Flexibility to work night shifts, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
* Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy loads safely.
