Summary
Our client an outstanding private day nursery in Solihull are looking for an experienced and passionate practitioner to join their busy team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about children's progress
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery space
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for children and parents
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviour with positive discipline techniques
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other nursery practitioners
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in early years/childcare or equivalent
- Have or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Hours/Days
- 4 - 5 days per week
- Shifts between 8am-6pm
- No weekends
