Here at LTF Recruitment we are searching for someone who can become a positive impact on our pupil's lives. The staff within this school, in Tooting, are eagerly looking to welcome an experienced SEN Teacher who will be able to promote a positive working environment and have the skills to meet the learning needs of all the pupils. We have a core set of responsibilities that are required for this role and if someone fits in perfect for this full-time role, there will be a chance for this position to become permanent for you.
Responsibilities:
- You will be required to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons, whilst also preparing the teaching materials.
- You will be taking registers, writing reports, and marking work.
- Help children gain confidence, independence and encourage them to learn by creating a safe and inclusive environment.
- You will be required to interact with other staff and parents/carers about progress for each individual child.
- Implement effective teaching and learning strategies, whilst making sure pupil's needs are being met.
- Working with SEN children, ensuring their ability to access learning activities and understand the information being presented.
Requirements:
- QTS required - experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Understand the challenges of working in this unique environment and be adaptable to any situation.
- A valid DBS or wiling to apply for a new DBS.
- Outstanding classroom behaviour management skills.
- Have a positive attitude and a team leader spirit with an engaging teaching style.
