Summary

Nu-Staff are currently working with their prestigious client to support the recruitment of Warehouse Operators for one of their main manufacturing locations based in Newport.

As a Warehouse Operator you will be working as part of the Logistics team with the objective to complete all operational tasks related to the receipt, storage, picking, packing and delivery of items and kits to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work to the processes and procedures to ensure high quality of work for the assigned process area, eg. Goods In, Kitting, Dispatch
• Generate and pick orders from multiple sites and locations for internal and external customers
• Ensure all orders are picked, packaged, and labelled correctly for customers
• Loading and unloading of deliveries and transport product using forklift and other machinery
• Understand and adhere to product preservation standards to ensure parts are stored and handled safely
• Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered
• Establish and maintain a clean professional working environment
• Support driving duties as well as driver assessments and route planning to ensure safety while using delivery vehicles
• Complete daily checklists and safety checks of vehicles, equipment, and PPE to adhere to standards
• Support and participate in improvement activities throughout the business

The Ideal Candidate :

• Full valid driving License (Essential)
• excellent IT Skills

Hours & Pay

• £12.89 (days regualar)
• £15.47 (Days and afternoons rotation)
