Summary

Crow Wood Leisure in Burnley are recruiting for a Trainee Housekeeper Assistant. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Catering and Hospitality qualification which will take approximately 19 months to compete.

Duties:
- Clean and replenish all used items as part of a team in all hotel bedrooms on a daily basis either in the hotel or across at - The Farmhouse building
- Deliver clean linen to floors when necessary
- Remove soiled linen in cages from the floors to the laundry area
- Maintain and re-stock all trollies and caddies at the end of each shift.
- Vacuum corridors daily
- Carry out deep cleaning of each room each month
- Use washing machine and tumble dryer effectively and efficiently.
- Put away any stock deliveries when necessary
- Cover public areas and late shifts when required.
- Report any faults found in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and effectively
- Ensure on all occasions you observe safe and hygienic working practices in order to satisfy the Health and Safety at - ---- Work Act and any other statutory legislation.
- To attend all necessary training which includes Fire Training, Manual Handling and COSHH
- Deliver any lost property to the housekeeping office with details of what, where and when found.
- Dispose of all rubbish to the correct place t the end of each shift
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service
- Any other general housekeeping duties as required

Requirements:
- Earliest start time 7am latest finish time 9pm. Weekend work on a rota basis, shifts to be discussed on interview
- Ideally be able to drive/have reliable transport
- Good level of maths and English
- Customer facing
- Trustworthy
- Friendly and approachable
- Smart and presentable
- Timekeeping and punctuality

Grades:
There are no formal qualifications required.

Hours:
Between the hours of 7am - 9pm, weekend work on a rota basis, shifts to be discussed on interview. 37.5 hours per week, 30 minutes unpaid break
