Summary


Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust Sterile Services Department are looking for a Quality & Technical Manager to join the team and ensure the compliance of the services being provided to our customers.

Sterile Services provides advice and a full decontamination service of medical devices, flexible endoscopes, and large non-invasive medical devices to clinical areas/teams both internally and to a number of external clients.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, resourceful individual with a desire to ensure that requirements of our Quality Management System are maintained, reviewed, and complies with all the regulatory standards, including ISO13485 and the UKCA regulations.

The post holder will provide advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders on Quality System procedures and technical matters relating to quality, ensuring full compliance with quality standards.

An interview date is yet to be confirmed.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the training programmes for all decontamination personnel employed within Sterile Services and for managing the paper work and data bases associated with the Quality Systems and decontamination equipment for Sterile Services.

The post holder will also play a significant part in the day to day training, compliance and quality assurance requirements of the department ensuring that the highest quality of service is delivered.

You will work to implement the Trust and local policy into local working practices to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and good practice guidelines at all times.
