Summary


The post holder will report to the Temporary Staffing Manager in delivering a proactive temporary staffing service to the Trust. This involves providing a consistently high quality, customer focussed and efficient temporary staffing service.

The post holder will be responsible for putting in place procedures to ensure all Bank only staff are fully compliant with their Mandatory Training, DBS, Professional Registration and Right to Work to be able to undertake bank shifts and to also ensure that all Bank only staff have access to IT logins, ID badges and uniform.

· Contact current Bank only workers who are non-compliant (Mandatory Training, Visa, DBS and Professional Registrations) advising them of deadlines by which they must complete their training and advising the Temporary Staffing Manager on workers that have fallen out of compliance for suspension, as per Trust policy.

· Develop and maintain well working relationships with temporary staff, managers and clinical and non-clinical leads, to ensure that managers and candidates are informed at all stages of the Temporary Staffing process.

· To liaise with the L&D team to ensure that training mapping activity takes place acting as subject matter expert for Temporary Staffing in training related matters.

· Taking ownership of the Compliance mailbox ensuring emails are dealt with promptly and accurately.

· To analyse gaps and areas of low compliance and take appropriate action with Temporary Staffing Manager with recommendations to improve compliance.

· To be able to deal with difficult situations politely and appropriately where staff are being refused entry to courses or where staff disagree with the result of an audit.

· To have a good understanding of Confidentiality and the Data Protection Act, ensuring confidentiality at all times, only releasing confidential information obtained during the course of employment to those acting in an official capacity in accordance with the provisions of the Act and its amendments.
