Summary
My client is looking for a Multi-Skills Lecturer to work at an Establishment around the Aylesbury area. This is a Full-time Temporary role to start ASAP on an ongoing basis and it will be covering Plumbing, Bricklaying and Carpentry classes up to Level 3.
Ideally candidates will have:
• Recent experience working within a College setting
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching Multi-Skills subjects (Plumbing, Bricklaying, Carpentry)
• A current Enhanced DBS certificate
If you are a teacher with dynamic qualities who has a proven record of raising pupil attainment, are able to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilities, are keen to further develop your own practice and to work in a team, then we would like to hear from you.
Job Specific Requirements
• Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum Experience of curriculum development
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
