Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Advisor to join the Trust’s Corporate Health and Safety Team.

You will provide expert advice to all levels of the organization, assist with the planning and implementation of health & safety training, conduct audits and incident investigations, and ensure compliance with current legislation and regulations. (Including local policies and procedures)

You will work as part of the Corporate Health and Safety Team and report directly to the Health and Safety Manager.

You will hold a minimum of a NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent) and will be able to demonstrate experience within a similar role and setting.
• Provide expert health and safety advice to all levels of the organisation
• Conduct audits, visits, investigations and compliance monitoring
• Act as a first point of contact for all health and safety matters.
• Prepare high quality reports on health and safety issues following staff concerns, incidents, trend analysis reports and external regulatory body requirements.
• Acts as project lead to progress and resolve health and safety issues and concerns.
