Contract Officer (Compliance) (£42,428 per annum, permanent, full-time)
Job Role
A role has become available in the Asset Team for a Contract Officer (Compliance), to co-ordinate the day to day running of the asbestos and water hygiene compliance contracts. You will be responsible for managing the performance and delivery, ensuring we achieve 100% compliance. Reporting to the Building Safety Manager you will help shape the services offered to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of how asbestos impacts repairs or planned work as you will be responsible for identifying trends, monitoring customer contacts and tasks, raising and processing works orders to completion and generally dealing with contracts administration.
Confident and calm, you will be able to present your reports and findings to the Building Safety Manager. You will also be expected to chair and manage contract meetings to support achieving your compliance goals. The successful candidate will have outstanding IT skills, attention to detail and experience in either housing, construction or project management. You’ll need to be good at creating positive relationships internally because in this post you will be an important link between parts of the team and the rest of the business.
As the role will include the management of asbestos, we would require a candidate to be P402/P405, equivalent, or working towards this.
