The 144-room Ibis Bridgwater – opened in January 2021 – managed by Cycas Hospitality and is Cycas’ first property under the Ibis name by the Accor brand. The five-storey property incorporate's a ground-floor restaurant named the Keepers Kitchen & Bar, and meeting facilities.

Job Scope

The Keepers Kitchen & Bar is a new fresh concept from Accor and this opening will only be the fourth of it's kind in the UK. It's a great place to relax, unwind and indulge, morning, noon or night.

Keeper's is open all day offering British, international classics and Keeper’s favourite dishes, featuring our signature house honey.

Under the direction of the Head Chef and the Jnr Sous Chef, prepare and serve a range of menu items that meet customers’ expectations. Promotes the desired work culture around our company culture.

Key Job Responsibilities

Assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration and menu dishes including:


Meat dishes and meat marinades
Fish, shell fish and sauces for fish and shell fish
Garnishing techniques and methods of service for fish
Pastry, cakes and yeast goods
Petit fours and desserts
Prepares Regional Dishes appropriate to the hotel menu, location and guest mix
Buffet Food
Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Prepares in advance food, material and equipment needed for the service
Cleans and re-sets his/her working area


WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING


Customer Service experience, preferably in an Accor Brand, but not essential
Experience within a Hotel Restaurant Operations is desired
