Summary
Are you ready to leverage your expertise in Control and Instrumentation systems to drive impactful projects across the UK? As a C&I Design Engineer with us, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy management.
London Or Blackburn based
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead medium to large scale projects on Energy Control Systems from concept to delivery
- Take full ownership of complex control strategies and advanced requirements
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation ensuring technical robustness
- Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender proposals and estimates
- Lead technical aspects of control and safety systems
- Attend critical assessments and project meetings
Experience/Qualifications:
- Qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in PLC, SCADA systems, and BMS
- Strong grasp of control system protocols (Modbus, MBUS, BACnet, PROFINET, Ethernet)
- Familiarity with EC&I documents and mechanical systems
- Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of Control and Instrumentation systems
Desirable Experience:
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Experience with green technologies such as Solar Systems, BESS, CHP, District Heating
- Knowledge of Electrical Grid Engineering requirements (G99 & G100)
