Summary
Personal Assistant/Support Worker (part-time/flexible)
Location: Bottesford, Scunthorpe
Pay: TBC
Hours: Weekdays only. 2 hours a day (1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening) to support with the young male’s daily care.
Additional Hours: May be required during weekends / school holidays.
A Non-smoker is preferred.
Preferably an experienced personal assistant / support worker required for a delightful and funny non-verbal 10 year old male who has Autism, Epilepsy / Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. This kind hearted young male loves cuddles, as well as rough and tumble, being outdoors in his wheelchair / short walks in a safe environment e.g. Normanby and getting involved in activities which meet his sensory needs.
The family are looking for someone who is confident and has a caring nature.
Responsibilities: The administration of emergency Epilepsy medication once training has been provided, as well as personal care.
