We are excited to be working with a fantastic client based in the stunning Lake District, supporting them with their company’s continual growth. We are looking to speak with an experienced and community focussed General Manager for a fantastic 7 Bedroom Inn nearby to Penrith.
The right candidate will be a hands-on leader who is capable of managing a small team in a thriving community business with consistent footfall from locals and tourists alike.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Experienced General Manager ideally generating from a similar style of venue.
• Friendly, personable and has a genuine interest in forging strong links with the local community.
• Customer Service Champion – capable of delivering great service and leading from the front.
• Excellent financial knowledge – stocks, P&L’s etc.
• Keen eye for detail, highly organised and driven to succeed.
Role Responsibilities:
• Oversee all operations of the business, including team development, stocks, driving sales & guest service.
• Monitor and analyse the financial performance of the site, identifying areas for improvement.
• Communicate & coordinate effectively with the FOH & kitchen team to ensure service is flawless.
• Build and develop relationships with customers.
• Handle any guest queries and complaints in a productive manner.
• Continually oversee all aspects of the business.
