Summary
Kitchen Assistant – FM Service Provider – Faversham - £12.50 per hour
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to work for an established Facilities company on a unique site based in Faversham. The successful candidate will have a proven track record working in hospitality and can start immediately.
Hours/details available:
- Flexible shift pattern
- Zero hour contract
- Pay rate - £12.50 per hour
- Contract type - Permanent
- Immediate start
- Driving license needed
Important – Must have previous experience working in the role above and be able to start immediately.
Responsibilities & Duties (Kitchen Assistant)
- Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular HACCP regulations
- Checking in of food deliveries ensures that only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the units.
- Ensuring that all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed
- Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
- Preparation of service area and/or service points
- Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
- Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times
- Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
- Helping with the salad bar
- Assisting chefs in basic cooking
- Assist front of house
