Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Office – Cannon Street, London – £40,000
An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Cannon Street, London has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial office building near Cannon Street, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site (Team of 6 engineers)
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in Electrical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £40,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 07:00 to 19:00
Earlies are 07:00 to 16:00
Lates are 10:00 to 19:00 Rotating weekly
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems.
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements
- Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc)
- Experience working in a large commercial building
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer skills
