Summary
Are you a dynamic, forward-thinking, and self-motivated Band 6 Dermatology Nurse or a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist who wants to come and join our friendly supportive Dermatology Team?
This is an exciting opportunity to be in a leading role delivering high quality care and providing support to skin cancer patients and their families and helping to develop- and expand our skin cancer services.
The successful candidate will be developed to obtain skills to enable them to manage and maintain a case load of skin cancer patients, undertaking nurse-led clinics and performing diagnostic skin surgical procedures supported by the Skin cancer Specialist Nurse.
This is a 12 month fixed term post, 32 hours a week.
Promote expert practice, facilitating the development of clinician’s skills by acting as a role model, mentor and supervisor to provide a visible, accessible and authoritative presence regarding common inflammatory skin diseases (e.g. acne, eczema, psoriasis) in the clinical setting and will work with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service including expert care that the patients, relatives and staff can rely on for support and advice.
