Summary
Our client, an established food production manufacturer is looking for HGV drivers to support the distribution of their award-winning products.
What we offer:
• £15.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Optional overtime available working weekends
• Immediate starts available.
• Weekly pay
• Position can go permanent after 12 weeks.
• Accrue Holiday pay!
The role:
• Monday – Friday.
• Optional overtime available working weekends.
• Loading the products ready for distribution.
• Responsibilities of the driver.
• Delivering stock to supermarkets around Cornwall and southwest.
• Maintaining the vehicle and making sure it’s safe to drive.
• Customer satisfaction when delivering.
• Adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines.
• Some long-distance driving required.
Requirements
• UK drivers’ licence category (C+E).
• Full CPC.
• Digital tacho card.
• Good physical health as you will be required to lift, shift and move metal crates on and off the lorries.
The ideal candidate will be looking for a role that can offer full time hours as well as an opportunity to progress within an established food manufacturing business.
