We have a fantastic opportunity here at Purovets for a Veterinary Surgeon role in the bustling city of Liverpool. Known for its musical culture and vast array of shops, bars and restaurants this maritime city has something for everyone.
Our client is based in the Wavertree area of the City and is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their RCVS accredited small animal practice on a full time basis. Established in 1975, they have worked hard to maintain personal relationships with their clients and their pets.
The practice is well-equipped with the usual toys including a full laboratory, radiography, ultrasonography, tonometry, microscopy, dedicated inpatient wards, operating theatres and consulting rooms.
You will be joining a close-knit team comprising itself of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and 4 Receptionists across 2 practices.
Suitable candidates should be confident performing routine surgeries such as neuters, dentals, and mass removals. Good communication skills are essential along with sharing their core values and being a team player. You should be RCVS registered.
The Rota:
• Part time - 18.3 hours per week
• 2 days per week, between 9am - 6.30pm with 1 hour lunch break
• 1:3 Saturday mornings (9am - 1pm): consults only
