Objectives of this role
Oversee visitors to the office/showroom and ensure a friendly, personal experience
Ensure peak operations for the organisation and implement preventive measures for potential issues
Coordinate internal and external resources, and cultivate relationships with suppliers
Respond to requests and questions about office operations
Responsibilities
Communicating with customers and developers
Processing sales orders from customers
Processing and raising quotes and invoices using Xero
Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events; booking travel; maintaining file systems; mailing and shipping packages; and updating contacts database and employee lists
Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify needs and acquire supplies
Producing drawings and quotations for clients
Producing tenders for developers from building plans and negotiating contracts
Required skills and qualifications
Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Preferred skills and qualifications
Experience of CAD drawings
Knowledge or/and experience of Xero
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
Crowhurst, BN1 8AF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
