Summary


Provide physiotherapy input to the Regional Specialist FES Clinic, co-ordinating with other specialist services as appropriate e.g. Orthotics, Spasticity Clinic, MS Clinic and ITB Clinic.Assess Paediatric patients for FES treatment, plan, deliver and coordinate an individual treatment plan using sound clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice.Supply FES units, train patients and carers in their use, arrange and deliver follow-up reviews in line with Medical Devices Policy and clinical needs of patients.Support patients, carers, HCP with holistic management of neurological conditions for optimal rehabilitation potential.

Supervises Physiotherapy Assistants and students, Responsible for safe use of expensive equipment and delivery to patients.
