Are you an organised, customer driven individual who would love to join our team in the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner?
We have an exciting new role in The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and are looking to recruit a Commissioning and Grants Assistant on a 37 hour, full time, permanent basis.
The Commissioning and Grants Assistant will provide a range of support to the Commissioning Team in delivering against the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Commissioning Strategy and the Police and Crime Plan.
Key Responsibilities
• You will be handling telephone and email enquiries relating to Commissioning functions and communicating internally and externally with partner agencies by phone or email in relation to partnership functions of the team.
• Supporting other members of the Commissioning team with the maintenance of relevant administrative and filing systems (including manual and computerised systems) as appropriate.
• Assisting the Commissioning team with the procurement of victim and other commissioned services. This may include assistance with organising meetings, events and administrative work relating to tender documents.
The must haves
• GCSE English Language and Mathematics Grade C or equivalent level/qualification, or relevant experience.
• Experience of assisting in the preparation of briefings and reports and using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to present information verbally and in a written format and be able to respond to enquiries on the telephone, e-mail, letters and in person.
