Summary
Title: Retail Warehouse Operative / Stock Control Operative The Best Connection are an employment agency seeking Retail Stock Operatives for an ongoing temporary assignment at our world-renowned client in Knightsbridge, London
This role will be working in the distribution department of a luxury department store, and assisting with the receipt and distribution of luxury fashion goods for retail
Responsibilities of the Retail Stock Operative will include but not be limited to Helping to take in and sort incoming deliveries Manually moving stock by hand from delivery to store area Using manual handling equipment trucks to move stock Quantity and basic quality checking of incoming and outgoing deliveries Manually handling stock by pushing cages and trolleys down a passageway Performing in-store stock movement tasks Requirements of the Retail Stock Operative Ability to travel to the Knightsbridge area of central London independently Ability to work as part of a team and following instruction Well-presented as may involve entering and exiting the store during opening times Capable of manual handling Capable of heavy lifting up to 25kgs Able to walk all day and push trolleys and cages of stock Safety Conscious Rates of pay
£12.54 per hour rising to £13.80 per hour after 12 weeks service
Hours of work
Shifts operate on a rota basis, with any 5 days in a 7-day week being offered
Shift times can be 6:30am to 2:30pm or 2pm to 10pm on a rota basis
