Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Communication Manager to join our established team working with our world leading clients.
As part of our team, you will plan, develop and deliver a comprehensive communications strategy for multiple accounts across all the contract’s scope and to engage a broad range of stakeholders to meet the joint strategic objectives of the partnership, proactively utilising internal and external networks to lead as best in class for all communication methods/subject matters aligning with the contract, segment and regional goals.
The Communication Manager will be expected to build relationships with multiple stakeholders across a multi-organisation operating model, prioritise and able to manage expectations while maintaining close relationships.
Creating high quality internal communications content and campaigns, you will produce written materials and manage the delivery of creative content and plan & execute key employee communications events including roadshows & webinars. You will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the social media team for the region to brief in the right digital support for the contract plans.
About You Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:
  • Over 3 years’ communications experience in total, with experience of employee communications, either in-house or in an agency
  • Experience of working in a corporate environment, preferably for a blue-chip company (or supporting blue chips through agency)
  • Able to liaise with senior clients
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills e.g. writing for the web, sub-editing with attention to detail and an eye for a good story.
  • Proven social media, digital and creative experience.
  • Time management and organisational skills with flexibility to adapt plans as projects move and change track.
  • A self-starter - able to work to prioritise workload to tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
  • Strong editorial, content creation and digital experience
  • Some employee communications experience
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Confidence in persuading and influencing internal stakeholders.
  • Some experience of crisis communication and change management useful
  • Strong good team player

  • Willingness to learn, the ability to work independently on projects
Qualifications required:
  • Professional or higher qualification in communications or corporate communications
