Summary
MRICS Qualified Surveyor needed in Barnsley, £20.85ph PAYE - Reference: 0008 DC69 / 1
- Disposals and Acquisitions
- To support the Client's 5 year-disposal programme of surplus assets.
- The role will be focussed on the disposal/development of small to large scale allocated residential/commercial development sites.
- It is expected that the candidate will have experience of dealing with the sale of development sites from initial site preparation/feasibility, development/planning knowledge, valuation appraisals, marketing, negotiation, contract terms/agreements, through to completion.
- The candidate will also be expect to have excellent communication skills and developer relations alongside a strong knowledge of the residential market.
- Experience of dealing with all aspects of letting and managing a commercial property portfolio, which includes town centre retail/shopping centres, out of town high street retail, heritage/culture assets, industrial estates, business centres, administrative buildings, community properties and leased land assets. The workload will include:
Tenant (or landlord) liaison and dealing with tenant enquiries and disputes.
Landlord and Tenant matters
Debt management
Dealing with tenant requests for alterations, assignment etc
New lettings and lease renewals including valuation for rents.
Service charge management
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
