About Us:
Our client, MSK Food & Wine Ltd – based at Harrow, London, is retail establishment specializes in offering a diverse range of products and services. Our retail space provides various products like Food, beverages, newspapers, chilled frozen items, tobacco and alcohol beverages and stationery items services like parcel pickup/drop-off for major carriers such as UPS, Amazon, DPD, FedEx, Yodel, Evri, etc. Additionally, we offer National Lottery services, Pay Point, bill payments & cash point Machine facilities, as well as a selection of various convenient store products. Our comprehensive offerings aim to meet the varied needs of our customers, making us a one-stop destination for a wide array of products and services. Due to the rapid increase in the business, we are looking for a shop supervisor that will look after and handle daily business activities. Shop Supervisor will be responsible to full and smoothly run the business and provide feedback to the Owners/Directors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Fulfil and supervise production functions such as: goods inwards, storage, and goods outward to proper location, issue receipts.
• Supervise store activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible to Health and Safety at work while performing duties.
• Maintain a pleasant and polite approach while selling off licence products, sale of vapes, and challenging customer identity.
• Responsible for all banking functions related to the store including making bank deposits, etc.
• Handle cash register, sales, correct pricing, inventory control and receipts.
• Perform and supervise housekeeping duties, including cleaning the sales floor.
• Supervise the CCTV operation and report any issues.
• Perform record keeping and reporting of money, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and responsibility for other duties as assigned.
• Position may perform some or all the duties described above.
ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS:
1. Experience retail trade with at least 1 year experience in supervising a retail shop.
2. Experience using a till cash register, pay station system, secure paying machine.
3. Ability to communicate effectively in English (must), Hindi(preferred), Gujarati(preferred) verbally and written, to cater all customers’ needs and requirements.
4. Able to calculate and execute basic accounting and cash control procedures.
5. Basic judgment skills to determine the value of goods.
6. Basic computer skills with Microsoft office and internet savvy.
7. Above all the candidates should be Trustworthy, should be accountable and responsible while performing the duties on job.
SALARY RANGE: £36000 to £38000 depending on experience.
LOCATION: Harrow, London - UK.
JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent. 37.5 hours per week.
