Summary

Your new role

You will be joining a team of talented, solution focussed and driven employee relations specialists. Our purpose is to support our managers to make Mitie a great place to work. We advise and coach managers in their management of ER cases, upholding fair and just policies in-line with legislation and best practice whilst balancing risk and commerciality to deliver the best results for our business.

This is a hybrid role normally 1 day per week in the office, (Bristol or Birmingham) with flexible working available. We support continuous development including those who wish to continue or begin their CIPD studies.

As an assistant employee relations advisor you'll be responsible for managing your own caseload of ER issues using your knowledge in ER and employment law, from receipt of a case through to its conclusion, Provide HR advice in relation to HR policy, practices & procedures ,Utilise technology, including our case management system, to remotely deliver a quality service to our customers aswell as Handle inbound ER phone calls from our customers and be apart of a wider customer service focussed People Support team, Mitie's central HR function

The ideal candidate will have Employee Relations knowledge or keen interest in Employee Relations , be CIPD qualified or looking for the opportunity to be supported with your studies ,Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint as well as Keen interest in Employment Law.
