Summary

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is looking for a part time Receptionist to support its Facilities operation at the bet365 Stadium.

Reporting to the Head of Facilities the successful applicant will be joining our small but effective team serving as the initial point of contact for all visitors, clients and callers to the bet365 Stadium.

Main Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming visitors to the Stadium in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answering calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
• Dealing with any queries in an efficient and professional manner, either in person, on the telephone or via email.
• Managing the visitor’s book, signing guests in and out as well as issuing security passes as necessary.
• Assisting the Facilities Department with administration duties as necessary.
• Sorting, recording and preparing outgoing mail for collections.

Key Skills and Experience

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Basic IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Previous experience in a relevant area is desirable.


The position will be offered on a part time basis, Monday to Friday. Shifts will generally be either 08.00-13.00 or 12.30-17.30 on a rotating weekly basis.

In additional the ideal candidate will also be available to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis to cover matchday fixtures and other adhoc events at the bet365 Stadium.

All relevant training will be provided.
