We are currently seeking a dedicated Semi-Skilled Bench Joiner to join our team in Willenhall. As a Semi-Skilled Bench Joiner, you will play a crucial role in our woodworking operations, assisting in the manufacturing of high-quality furniture and joinery products.
Responsibilities:
Assist skilled joiners in the assembly and production of wooden furniture and joinery products.
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools under supervision.
Measure, cut, and shape wood according to specifications and blueprints.
Sand and finish wooden surfaces to ensure a smooth and polished final product.
Assist in the installation of joinery products as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and tools.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience in woodworking or joinery is preferred but not essential.
Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
