CNC Machinist – Setter/Operator
Gloucester – Day Shift (M-Th) 7-4, Friday 7-13 Permanent – Fulltime – Up to £18ph
My client, a precision machine shop, working in a variety of sectors including Aerospace and MOD, is looking for a skilled CNC machinist to join the team. Working in a sub-contract environment, utilising a variety of materials.
The role:
• Machining complex parts on multiple machines in a sub-contract environment.
• Haas Milling machines – variety.
• Working with a variety of materials – Steel, Aluminium, PEEK, Super duplex
• Variety of industries including but not limited too – Aerospace, automotive and MOD
The Person:
• Motivated, organised, experienced CNC machinist – (5 years preferred)
• Experience using Haas milling machines.
• Able to read and understand G codes and M codes.
• Good understanding of feeds and speeds.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Haas Turning experience - Desirable
• Experience using CAD – Desirable
• Apprentice/College graduate - Desirable
