Summary


The Whipps Cross Dietetic team are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 dietitian to join our innovative department in this supervised rotational post.

Rotation 1: includes critical care experience with supervision

Rotation 2: includes gastroenterology experience with supervision

This position will give you a solid foundation from which you can build your career in most areas of acute dietetics. You will be working in a friendly team alongside both senior and experienced dietitians and support workers within the hospital and be able to access knowledge from the wider team of dietitians across Barts Health. This, along with regular supervision, close multidisciplinary working and peer learning will allow you to build on your confidence and skills in the inpatient setting.

To work together with the dietetic team to provide an effective dietetic service to adult in-patients at Whipps Cross Hospital. To ensure that research and audit is undertaken on a regular basis in order to ensure practice is evidence based. This post will have a requirement to work on any adult ward and may be required to work across or attend meetings on any of the sites within Barts Health on request.
