£11.90 per hour / OT £15.87 per hour

Must have own transport due to location

We are recruiting for WOOD ASSEMBLY OPERATIVES to join our client on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidates this could lead to a permanent position at the client’s discretion. This is an entry-level position in to assembly/manufacturing / production. This role does involve manual labour and lifting heavy items.

• Placing timber components into jigs.
• Placing steel connector plates quickly and accurately at pressing points.
• Assist in the nailing of girder trusses.
• Assist in handling and safe stacking of completed work from jigs to trolleys.
• Assist in other areas of production as required, including such duties as taking off and stacking cut material from saws, banding job lots using banding machines and assisting in the maintenance of a clean and tidy working area.

You will be:

• Physically strong
• Reliable and hard-working
• Confident to work in busy production environments

What we need from you:

• CV showing previous manual labour experience within CV
• Passport OR Birth Certificate with National Insurance proof
