Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Design Team Lead to guide our team of backend and frontend developers. The ideal candidate will direct projects to deliver high-quality software applications and lead the integration of AI/ML use cases into our product line. This person should possess strong technical skills, leadership acumen, and the passion to harness technology for transformative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a multidisciplinary team of backend and frontend developers, fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence.
• Architect, design, and oversee the development of robust software applications, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Implement best practices and establish coding standards for development, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate and prioritize tasks, manage project timelines, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop AI/ML use cases and strategies that align with product goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools, identifying opportunities to integrate them into our solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the overall strategic vision and development roadmap of the technology department.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience of network design is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a software development leadership role, with a strong track record of managing successful teams.
• Expertise in backend and frontend technologies, frameworks, and languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience with AI/ML frameworks, algorithms, and integrating AI/ML solutions into software products.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
