Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for JCFs (FY3 Doctor equivalent) LED to join our friendly, enthusiastic team at Queens Hospital, Burton on Trent, University Hospitals Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB).

The UHDB Haematology service currently provides care up to Level 2b (BCSH 2010), with plans for a shared care arrangement, repatriating autologous stem cell transplant patients at day +1, to be implemented in the near future.

This is a 12 month fixed term post for a JCF / FY3 doctor based atQueens Hospital in Burtonbut includes a requirement to work across other UHDB sites should the need arise. The possibility of extension may be available dependant on the service needs.

We are seeking a full time JCF / FY3 Haematology, no experience required as full on the job training will be provided. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will work in collaboration with the existing consultant body, specialist registrar and training posts supported by nurse specialists to provide a comprehensive range of clinical and laboratory services for patients.

Haematology is an essential area of medicine and experience gained in this role will be invaluable for a career in medicine, general surgery and paediatrics.

Full GMC registration with a licence to practice at the time of application is essential along with at least 6 months of working within a UK setting.
