- SEN Teaching Assistant at a secondary SEN school the Manchester area.
- Starting ASAP on a full time basis, Mon to Fri.
- Opportunity to turn permanent for the right person.
- Hours are 9:30am - 3:30pm.
- Pay up to £95/day depending on exp.
- As the new SEN Teaching Assistant you will need to support young people with Autism & Complex Needs.
- You will need to work as a team to manage challenging situations and make progress with your pupils.
- Often 1:1 support will be required as well
- Sometimes personal care or moving & handling tasks will be needed.
- Pupils respond well to motivation, encouragement & positive reinforcement
- The school caters for children aged 11-18.
- Aim for all pupils, regardless of background or ability to be successful and valued.
- Collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Easily accessible by bus or car.
To join us and be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- 2 Professional references checks.
- Provide a CV with a full history.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Have some experience with teenagers or young adults.
