LTF Recruitment is collaborating with multiple Primary Schools in Derby to recruit proficient Primary Teaching Assistants, particularly those with expertise in supporting children with special educational needs like ASD, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and developmental delays. We seek candidates who excel both independently and as team players, demonstrating a deep understanding of diverse educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and small group instruction in Literacy, Numeracy, and Phonics interventions.
- Encourage participation and facilitate interaction among SEN students during lessons and curriculum activities.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to provide feedback on student progress.
- Opportunity to fulfill Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) duties across the school.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Possession of relevant teaching assistant qualification.
- Previous experience in a school environment.
- Strong understanding of special educational needs.
- Flexible and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desirable to hold a Level 4 TA qualification, though experience as a TA is highly encouraged.
