Summary

Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs?

Engage Education are seeking a specialist Primary Teacher to join our inclusive and dynamic school community.
- Position: Specialist Teacher for SEN Students
- Location: Bradford
- Salary: Pay to scale plus SEN allowance (TLR if relevant)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and instruction to students with a range of SEN, including but not limited to ASC, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, Complex needs, and associated needs.
- Create individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, support staff, and classroom teachers to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and behavior management techniques to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes engagement, independence, and self-confidence.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialisation or experience in supporting students with SEN, particularly ASC, ADHD, and other specified needs.
- Familiarity with interventions such as Attention Autism and Team Teach (desirable).
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with parents/carers and external agencies.
- A positive and empathetic approach to supporting students with SEN, promoting their well-being and inclusion within the school community.
