Summary

Community Advice Team Leader

Based in Chester or Winsford (TBD) (significant travel within Cheshire West)
Salary: £29,269 pa
Fixed term until 31 March 2025

The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic team leader to work as part of our Community Advice team, supervising and providing leadership and guidance to a new community volunteer team situated in various locations throughout the district. As well as being responsible for the smooth running of the service, you will provide feedback, support and encouragement to volunteers to aid their development and ensure the information provided to clients is accurate, appropriate and recorded correctly.

The ideal candidate
This is a forward thinking, energetic role with lots of face to face interactions. Ideally, you will have proven experience of team supervision preferably within the third sector and experience of working within a fast paced environment handling administration/information systems and client interactions. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills.

The organization
We are a locally focused charity with over 100 staff and volunteers. We provide free, impartial advice and information on a wide range of issues to our local community and are the largest independent provider of generic advice within the district.
