Summary


We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic professional to join our management accounts team

Working alongside the Finance Business Partners, this role will cover the full suite of financial management responsibilities for a division, including undertaking detailed expenditure analysis at divisional and service level as required through to establishment control and forecasting.

The post will support the production of monthly financial reports; proactively investigating variances and providing analytical reports on areas.

The Financial Management team are responsible for the setting and monitoring of the Trust’s budgets and in supporting the budget holders to achieve financial stability.

We currently have a full time vacancy for a Band 6 Senior Management Accountant. The post holder will need to complete a wide variety of tasks supporting the main body of Management Accounts, including regular journals, checking of invoices received and raising invoices to third parties. The successful candidate will also need meet with budget holders on a regular basis out in the Divisions and prepare forecasts based on these. The role will also include helping with the year end accounts , ensuring all reconciliations are complete and up to date , analysis and assist with improvement of process and methodologies within the team.

The role will include supervising the Assistant Management Accountants in the team.

Computer experience, excellent communication skills, good telephone manner and previous experience within an accounts environment is essential.

The ideal candidate will have the ability and flexibility to work as part of a team, have a good standard of education with a high level of numerate ability and accuracy.
